I have been writing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. The moment I learned words, I started noting them down in stapled-together paper books.
As a child, I always wanted to be a writer - but as I grew up, life got in the way, and I went to college to study business and marketing. Now, at 25, I’m slowly reconnecting with the part of myself that wanted to share her stories with the world.
I like to take various themes, genres and elements and mash them together in unconventional ways to create something unique. Therefore, you will find a mix of sci-fi, fantasy and romance in my books - but I might explore other genres in the future as well. Who knows?
I also like to combine creative worldbuilding with serious topics we are all familiar with, like flawed political systems and characters struggling with their mental health. My books often contain darker themes, including characters (even main characters) that operate in various shades of morally gray. Please make sure to read the content warnings before reading any of my books.
English is my second language, so you’ll probably find random Dutch expressions in my books that don’t make sense in English at all. Sometimes, rather than taking them out, I solve it by giving my characters Dutch roots.
